A partnership built around the agent’s work
CapitalPay International announced a long-term partnership with Tanzania’s clearing-agent associations in Dar es Salaam, with the Tanzania Revenue Authority witnessing the agreement. The announcement sets out a programme of digital administration and payment processes for the clearing industry.
For an agent, a shipment involves more than moving money. Documents must be prepared, professional services recorded and payment references connected with the correct job. A missing reference can leave the finance team checking a bank statement while the operations team waits for an answer.
Connecting the service and the payment
T-CAMS gives this work a defined focus: the agent, the professional service, its charge and the resulting payment record. Our programme pages explain the organisations involved and the difference between an agent’s professional fee, a statutory payment and a platform charge.
The partnership’s stated objectives include paperless administration, support for local clearing businesses and lower container-deposit costs. Those objectives guide the work; the terms applying to a particular service belong in its agreement and invoice.
